Studies show us that the more sexually repressed the religion, the more child sexual abuse occurs among its members. Phillip Garrido, for example, who kidnapped Jaycee Dugard and held her as a sex slave for 18 years, was a Jehovah Witness minister. Police were only alerted when he tried to take the babies that he fathered with Jaycee onto a University campus to preach and distribute Watchtower magazines. Do you want these people on your private property, knocking on your door, talking to your children?
|
Even especially prominent JW Representatives, like Robert Edinger, of Bedford (Mitchell Kingdom Hall), for example, repeatedly intoxicated his son with alcohol at the age of 14 or younger, following years of stripping him and beating him. That son survived, however, earned a PHD in Religion at the University of Southern California, and is now fighting back, especially because my father is taking advantage of the fact that my mom has Alzheimer's and cannot express her wishes clearly. After a lifetime of being an attentive son to my mother, now, when she has Alzheimer's and can no longer defend her wishes, my father capitalizes on this and keeps me away from her, because I am not a JW. I have come to realize now, at the age of 54, that child abuse among Jehovah's Witnesses lasts a lifetime. And this web site represents the expression of a lot of hostility over a lot of stupidity of those in power in this organization with their proud egos, not even taking into consideration the consequences of these failed policies that tear families apart, if not sooner, then later. Many family members of JWs suffer, and we need solidarity in order to face these challenges.

Adult Survivors of Jehovah Witness Child Abuse

Jehovah Witnesses invade private property with no permission of any kind, by surprise, sometimes when you are not at home. Often, they solicit home bible studies with children. Sometimes, they come to visit when you are away from your home and unable to protect your family. They have all of Bloomington, Bedford, and Mitchell, Indiana mapped out into territories for door-to-door canvassing, hoping to be invited to a return visit.
The law does nothing to stop this invasion of your private property, since it is considered to be within their 1st amendment rights to solicit our conversions. The only recourse that you have is to notify them that you do not want to be called on and then they will put you on their Do Not Call list. Inform them that Jehovah Witnesses are not allowed on your property. Only by having notified them will you be able to put legal force behind your no trespassing sign. We urge you to do this as soon as possible. Protect your children! Tell the Jehovah Witness representatives listed on the right, or the number in your local phone book, that under no circumstances do you want them to call at your home!
|
We, those of us who had this fearsome and violent ideology thrust upon us in our infancy, we are the principal victims of this fossilized, anachronistic, destructive, and dangerous philosophy of idolatry of self that the JWs try to force with violence upon silent lambs.
The Jehovah's Witnesses organization is built on fear, not truth, fear of the almighty warrior god Jehovah, fear of the end of the world, fear of one's neighbors or classmates, or most of all, displeasing the elders, being spied upon, the threat of being outcast and unable to even socialize with one's own mother. Much worse, however, is that they go door-to-door trying to scare us, bothering us when we are trying to enjoy a family meal or getting ready for work. They want you to be afraid as well, so that you will donate to their cause.

Construction of the New Assembly Hall in
Orangeburg County Ohio 2013, 2014, 2015
The Assembly Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses will be constructed on land near the intersection of S.C. Highway 33 and Interstate 26. The 58-acre parcel is near Gussy Drive and Assembly
Hall Way, which serves as a frontage road to I-26. Initial plans call for a $14 million, 65,000-square-foot facility with parking that will meet and exceed zoning requirements, New local
construction jobs and long-term sustainable jobs being added to the Orangeburg area in the form of additional restaurant and hospitality sector jobs. 40 two-day events held at the center
annually with an estimated total attendance of 160,000 visitors a year. With each person spending an estimated $66 per day, there will be a total annual revenue of $52.8 million, Sims said.
With a sales tax of 7 percent, the total annual sales tax collections will be about $3.7 million with a five-year total sales tax projection of $18.5 million. Sims said although the church owns
about 58 acres, engineers are studying how much land is needed for the center now and in the future. If permitting and other considerations align, Sims said ground could be broken in the
third quarter of 2011 under a construction management arrangement with licensed contractors. Construction estimates range from 12 to 15 months. The purpose of the educational center is
to educate the Jehovah’s Witnesses and their neighbors in the practical application of Bible principles in daily life,” he said. “The public is invited to attend weekly meetings.”Orangeburg site
was chosen from a large pool of possible locations. Our search team examined more than 200 sites in the state,” Sims said. “We would like to extend our thanks to all those in Orangeburg
County who helped make this site our choice. This facility and its strategic location near the I-26/I-95 region make it a convenient option.”
Dear Brother or Sister, If you think that this page is a disgrace to the truth and brings dishonor upon Jehovah's name, please write to Sister Faith Spicer, 3609 River Bluffs Road, Bedford, Indiana, 47421, USA, and tell her why you think that it should be taken down. Do this for the honor and glory of Jehovah's name!

We are dedicated to helping protect Jehovah Witness children from sexual abuse and to fight against the cover up of sexual abuse. We are investigating a particularly egregious case that has been reported to us involving three local congregations of Jehovah Witnesses in Bloomington, Bedford, and Mitchell, Indiana. Please help to inform the ministers (elders) of these congregations that they have a legal duty to report child sexual abuse to local law enforcement agencies!

The sovereignty over the Spratly Islands is disputed by People's Republic of China, the Republic of China, Vietnam, the Philippines (part), Malaysia (part), and
Brunei (part). Except Brunei, each of these countries occupies part of the islands (see List of territorial disputes).
In 1949, the Republic of China government led by the Kuomintang (KMT) lost the Chinese Civil War to the Communist Party of China (CPC) and set up a provisional
capital in Taipei. The CPC established the PRC. As such, the political status of the ROC and the legal status of Taiwan (alongside the territories currently under
ROC jurisdiction) are in dispute. In 1971, the United Nations gave the China seat to the PRC and the ROC withdrew from the UN: most states recognize the PRC to
be the sole legitimate representative of all China, and the UN classifies Taiwan as "Taiwan, Province of China". The ROC has de facto relations with most sovereign
states. A significant political movement within Taiwan advocates Taiwan independence.

Regional Building Committees are organized by Jehovah's Witnesses in many countries to oversee the construction and maintenance of their places of worship,
known as Kingdom Halls and Assembly Halls. The objective of such qualified committee members is to coordinate the efforts of those involved so as to provide
attractive and functional facilities that are financially viable.
Regional Building Committees cooperate with local congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses that are seeking to build or renovate a place of worship, under the
direction of the local branch office of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Committees help in assessing the suitability of a possible construction site, purchasing of land and materials and coordinating the efforts of volunteers from the
wider area.
As is true throughout the Jehovah's Witnesses organization, members of a Regional Building Committee work voluntarily and receive no remuneration for their work.
The work of the Regional Building Committees has made it possible for Jehovah's Witnesses to build or renovate places of worship in a very short time, sometimes
as little as two days.
Regional Building Committee of Jehovah's Witnesses, Inc. has a location in Patterson, NY. Active officers include Charles I Woody, William H Nonkes, Allen E
Shuster, Paul Castellani, Darrell Buchanan and Gary Pankonin. Regional Building Committee of Jehovah's Witnesses, Inc. filed as a Foreign Non Profit Corporation
on Monday, November 15, 2004 in the state of New York and is currently active. Jim H Moody serves as the registered agent for this organization.

Isn't it about time that this came out? Some Jehovah's Witnesses want more than to leave a Watchtower.
Towns where Alleged Jehovah's Witness Child molesters have been reported to silentlambs.
Listed by each state.
If you would to add a new listing contact silentlambs at info@silentlambs.org
The list below is designed to alert you to a possible danger in your community. Over the course of the last four years silentlambs has been a repository of reports
on alleged Jehovah's Witness child molesters. Victims have reported extensively on times, dates and places abuse occurred. We have wrestled with how to alert the
public as well as members that may be in congregations where abusers have been reported.
We offer the following suggestions if you as a Jehovah's Witness are in a town/congregation where a report has been made.
Do not allow your children to be alone with anyone in the congregation.
Escort your children to the bathroom during meetings and make sure no else is with them when using facilities.
Never allow your children to be alone in the car with anyone while in field service.
Do not allow any member to study with your child alone.
Avoid camping trips in which children go as a group with one or two adults.
Avoid baby sitters that are adult males.
At a get together watch your children and keep them in sight at all times.
Ask elders directly if they know of any abusers in your congregation, use specific names and note their reaction. They will not tell you directly but indirectly you can
often figure out who it is. If one elder is less cooperative talk to another till you find out enough information to know the facts.
Check the local sex offender list in your area, type in the name of every person in your congregation to see if any are listed.
Notice any male member of the congregation that does not have privileges such as microphone or other duties around the congregation, especially if for a long
period of time. They can offer talks on the TMS or sermons Service Meeting but are not allowed to conduct meetings. (This is only in case of a confessed child
molester)
Note any member of the congregation that has children with sever rebellion or emotional problems.
Do not allow your children to have sleepovers with anyone.
Note members that the elders avoid having around their children.
If you are a member of the public and your community is on the list take the following steps to protect your family.
If Jehovah's Witnesses call at your home never allow them in your home
If you do not wish Jehovah's Witnesses to call at your home purchase a no trespassing sign and place it near your door. JW's are instructing to only respect "no
trespassing" signs any other variation will be ignored.
If you do not wish Jehovah's Witnesses to call you can also call the local number and ask to be placed on the "do not call" list. They will note your home and check
about once a year to make sure you wish to remain on the list.
If you choose to study with Jehovah's Witnesses do so at a neutral location such as the local Kingdom Hall or in a public place.
Never allow your child to be alone with members or their children.
If you choose to attend meetings with Jehovah's Witnesses then we suggest you follow the guidelines above for members.
Remember that most members are not aware of who the molesters are in their congregation according to church policy. They do not know.
If two Jehovah's Witnesses call at your door one could be a child molester. According to church guidelines all confessed child molesters are required to have a
partner when going door to door. If two Jehovah's Witnesses appear at your door you might wish to ask if one or both are child molesters for peace of mind. Of
course keep in mind if the person is an accused child molester they are allowed to work alone in the door to door work.
We hope this information is helpful and assists with the ultimate goal of silentlambs, protecting children. Check back as the list is updated on a regular basis:
